Thurles Sarsfields Golf Classic 2023: Our 2023 Golf Classic was held in Thurles Golf Club on Friday & Saturday last and was a massive success. Huge thanks to all that volunteered, participated & donated to make this a very successful event. The winner of our raffle for 2 All Ireland Hurling Final tickets was Ger Moroney.
Thurles Sarsfields Jersey 4 Life Fundraiser: On Saturday in our Clubhouse, our Jersey 4 Life team presented a cheque for €65,000 to the Dillion Quirke Foundation. Thurles Sarsfields & Jersey 4 Life team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped in any way towards hitting this massive amount of money raised. The feedback was phenomenal from all over Ireland and abroad.
GAA Healthy Club Project: As part of the GAA Healthy Clubs initiative, please join our walking group every Monday for the month of June. Great to see so many faces at our 2nd walk last Monday evening. The walk will begin at 7pm at the Thurles Sarsfields Clubhouse, Bohernanave. You will make your way from there to the new pitch at Toor and back at your own pace. There will be some light refreshments at the centre afterwards. Thurles Sarsfields members and non-members are welcome so encourage friends & family to join too. We would love to see you there!
Junior Hurling: Our Junior A's start their Mid Hurling Championship campaign against Loughmore-Castleiney this Tuesday the 27th at 7.30pm in the Outside Field, Thurles.
Camogie: Our U12's play Kilruane this Friday the 23rd at 7pm in Thurles.
Ladies Football: Our U12s (Team 2) play Ardfinnan this Thursday the 22nd at 7pm in the Outside Field. And our U10's play a blitz this Sunday the 25th at 5pm in Cahir.
