Victory Banquet Tickets: Tickets for our Victory Banquet on this Friday March 2nd are now available from behind the bar in the clubhouse, club officers, Senior and Junior B players as well as members of the Camogie and Ladies Football clubs. Tickets are €25 each. Thurles Sarsfields are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a night of celebration in the clubhouse on Friday, March 2nd 2018, to mark the 3 adult championship winning teams of 2017. County Senior & Junior B Hurling Champions and County Junior A Camogie Champions plus a number of individual awards will be presented on the night. A two course meal will be served on the night and when the award ceremony is over, popular local band Seskin Lane will provide live music. This is a club wide event and we would love to see as many mentors, parents etc., as possible attend. The dress code for the night is "Dress to Impress".
Membership: Membership rates have been set for the year with the following prices: Adult non-playing €35, Adult player €50, Family €60, Minor player €40, OAP €25 and Social membership €10. It is a requirement that all players have their membership paid before March 31st for insurance purposes. Membership can be paid via the new Official GAA app.
County Hurling Leagues: The county hurling leagues get underway this weekend. We have entered two teams into the league again this year. Our Senior team face Portroe on Sunday in The Outside Field at 12:00 in Division 1. Our Junior A's will play Kilsheelan-Kilcash in Division 5 on Sunday at 11:00 in Kilsheelan.
Minor A Football: Our Minor A footballers begin their Mid Tipperary Championship campaign this Saturday March 3rd at 15:00 in The Outside Field against Holycross/Ballycahill. All support will be appreciated.
Ryan Cup Final: Congratulations to Cathal Maloney who was part of the Maynooth University Team who won the Ryan Cup last Saturday in Mallow.
Laochra Gael: Don't forget that Lar Corbett's Laochra Gael is on TG4 at 21:30 tonight Wednesday February 28th. Something to watch in front of the fire during "The Beast from the East"!
